¡Ker Belgrano: El Hotel Boutique en Argentina que Debes Conocer AHORA!
Okay, ¡Ay Dios Mío! This request is a monstruo - a beast! But hey, I'm up for the challenge. Let's dive headfirst into reviewing ¡Ker Belgrano: El Hotel Boutique en Argentina que Debes Conocer AHORA! – the ¡Ker Belgrano!
(Deep breath… and let's go!)
¡Ker Belgrano: El Hotel Boutique… ¿DE VERDAD? ¡A Ver! (Ker Belgrano: The Boutique Hotel… REALLY? Let's See!)
Alright, before we start, I need to say this: I'm not a fancy-pants travel blogger with all the perfect photos. I'm just a regular persona who loves to travel, eat, and complain… I mean, evaluate hotels. And I'm going to be completely honest with you. This review is messy, opinionated, and probably a little bit all over the place. Deal? ¡Trato hecho! (Deal!)
Finding the Ker of Ker (Accessibility & Getting There):
First things first, ¿Cómo llego? (How do I get there?). Thankfully, ¡Ker Belgrano boasts airport transfer – HUGE plus! Saves you the stress and the sweaty negotiations with taxi drivers. They also have car park [free of charge] and car park [on-site]. Genial! (Great!) And, for those with mobility issues, the website says elevator and facilities for disabled guests. I didn't personally test this (honestly, I forgot to ask every detail), but it's important to note. They SHOULD have this. Hopefully, they've made sure, unlike that one hotel in Madrid where the "wheelchair-accessible" room required the agility of a mountain goat. (Note to self: always double-check the small print). ¡Ojo! (Watch out!)
¡Dentro el Paraíso! (Inside Paradise? – Or Just a Nice Hotel?)
Okay, the wow factor. The lobby… the "vibe." Well, the website says they have Wi-Fi [free]. ¡Bendito sea el Wi-Fi! And also in all the rooms, yay! Air conditioning in both public areas and rooms, a must in Buenos Aires, believe me. 24-hour front desk, security and smoke alarms are all important points.
My Room – Because That's Where the Magic (or the Annoyance) Happens:
The room itself… Ah, the room. This is where a hotel lives or dies with me. ¡Ker Belgrano claims to have everything: Air conditioning, a safe box, coffee/tea maker, desk, free bottled water, a refrigerator, satellite channels, AND… wait for it… blackout curtains! ¡Santo cielo! They're like the secret weapon against jet lag and that pesky Buenos Aires sun. (If you've ever tried to sleep through it, you know what I mean). The rooms are non-smoking, which is always a good thing. More importantly, it says wake-up service y Daily housekeeping. I'm already imagining myself lying back and being pampered. Ooh la la!
The Inner Sanctum: Dining, Drinking, and the Art of Relaxation
¡A comer! (Let's eat!) Food, glorious food. ¡Ker Belgrano offers a treasure trove of options. Restaurants, a bar, a coffee shop, and a snack bar. AND 24-hour room service. ¡Glory! I can have breakfast in my room (with Breakfast in room), a major plus, but also Breakfast [buffet]. They list A la carte in restaurant, Alternative meal arrangement, Vegetarian restaurant, Asian cuisine. I'm already salivating. Coffee/tea in restaurant, Desserts, Salad, Soup… Now, for the real treats. The Pool with view, Sauna, Spa, Spa/sauna, Steamroom. OMG. This is where the stress melts away. They also have a Fitness center … yeah, okay, I’ll look at it. I'm a massage kinda girl, so the fact that they offer Massage got my attention.
¡Higiene y Seguridad! (Hygiene and Safety!)
Okay, since COVID, this is non-negotiable. ¡Ker Belgrano seems to be taking it seriously, gracias a Dios! They list Daily disinfection, Anti-viral cleaning products, Individually-wrapped food options, Hand sanitizer, Physical distancing of at least 1 meter, Rooms sanitized between stays, Safe dining setup, Sanitized kitchen and tableware items, Staff trained in safety protocol. That's reassuring.
Services and Conveniences: The Little Extras That Make a Difference
They boast Concierge, Daily housekeeping, Doorman, Dry cleaning, Ironing service, Laundry service, Luggage storage, Safety deposit boxes, Currency exchange, Business facilities, Meeting/banquet facilities – the works!
¡Para los Niños! (For the Kids!)
They say Babysitting service, Family/child friendly, Kids meal, so it's good if you are with family.
Things to Do (Besides Eating and Sleeping, Apparently)
Look, I’m in Buenos Aires. I’m going to explore! But the hotel itself could be a destination. I mean, with a Pool with view, Spa, Sauna, Steamroom, Fitness Center, you might just want to stay put.
The Quirks, the Annoyances, and the Unfiltered Truth
Okay, here's where it gets real. I didn't personally experience all of this. I'm mostly working off the list provided. So, caveat emptor. (let the buyer beware). I didn't ask ALL the questions.
The Verdict (Drumroll, Please…)
¡Ker Belgrano sounds promising. It seems they've put a lot of effort into the amenities and the COVID safety which is a huge plus in my books. If they deliver on all they promise, this could be a true boutique gem with a relaxing and modern feel. SEO Optimization & Compelling Offer – Because We Need to Get Booked!

¡Hotel Europa Italia: ¡El Secreto Mejor Guardado de Italia te Espera!
¡Ay, caramba! Here we go… Mi itinerario para Ker Belgrano, Argentina. Prepare yourselves, because this isn't your average, perfectly-planned trip. This is real life, baby. Expect delays, questionable food choices, and possibly, a full-blown existential crisis… all with a hefty dose of Argentine charm.
Día 1: Llegada y… ¿Dónde está mi maleta?!
- 8:00 AM: ¡Despertador! (Except, I actually woke up at 7:30 am because I was so freaking excited, I could practically taste the dulce de leche already!) Flight from… well, let's just say it was a long one. Too long. Plane food: the first casualty.
- 1:00 PM (ish): ¡Aterrizamos en Ezeiza! Buenos Aires. Yay! Airports are always a vibe, right? Lots of people, questionable signage… and my suitcase? MIA. Dios mío. Panic level: mild hysteria. Managed to communicate my plight using a combination of broken Spanish, frantic hand gestures, and a desperate look towards the heavens.
- 2:30 PM: After a LOT of paperwork and promises (which I’m sure were sincere…), I managed to grab a taxi towards the hotel. The driver? A whirlwind of opinions and a passion for Carlos Gardel. I loved him.
- 4:00 PM: ¡Llegada triunfal al Ker Belgrano! Gorgeous hotel, seriously. The lobby smells like… well, like a fancy hotel should. Everything is impeccably designed. I started feeling a little intimidated. Then I saw someone trip on a rug, and felt a bit better. Humans.
- 4:30 PM: After the check-in, I have had a small problem. I wanted to cry but instead, I laughed, It's my luggage! Still MIA. Still. The front desk was very helpful and assured me it will be delivered soon. But, the receptionist’s face… let’s just say I wouldn't bet on it arriving before my next heart attack.
- 5:30 PM: Exploration time! I went to my room to change a bit. It feels like a dream. The room has a gorgeous balcony with a breathtaking view of the city. I just stood there, taking it all in, and drinking my life together. I feel so happy to be here.
- 7:00 PM: Dinner at a local steakhouse (as recommended by the taxi driver, the Gardel enthusiast). ¡Parilla! I ordered a steak, large, and I loved it, but I also didn't love it. It was huge. So huge that I was full halfway through I almost die. Still, I fought it and kept chewing until I couldn't take it anymore. I tried to be civilized, and left a polite amount of food. I think I could be a vegetarian, too. I was completely full and happy.
- 9:00 PM: Wandered around the neighborhood, getting lost on purpose. The streetlights cast such a romantic glow. People sitting in cafes, chatting loudly, the smell of grilling meat wafting from everywhere. Argentina, you're already winning me over.
- 10:00 PM: Back to the hotel, shattered but happy. My suitcase… still not there. Suspiro. Bedtime.
Día 2: Tango, Treacherous Walks, and Dulce De Leche Delights (Maybe…)
- 8:00 AM: Wake up! After a great night, I feel re-energized. I had a light breakfast with a lot of fruit and coffee.
- 9:00 AM: Tango lesson! Oh dear God. I'm not graceful. At all. My partner (a patient, handsome Argentine) was a saint. Turns out, I have two left feet. We stumbled, we laughed, and I nearly kicked him in the shin at least five times. But… there was something magical about it. The music, the closeness… even if I looked like a newborn giraffe.
- 11:00 AM: Exploration! Went for a walk. I remember that I wanted to enjoy the fresh air and take some pictures of the architecture. Beautiful! It was a Sunday, and the streets were full of people. I got carried away and started walking, ignoring the bus to the hotel, enjoying the walks. I lost the notion of time, and time just passed. I got lost on purpose, enjoying this feeling.
- 1:00 PM: Lunch time. Found a small cafe and ordered what looked like a safe bet. Empanadas. A classic. They were… okay. Not life-changing. But the people watching was top-notch. Saw a couple arguing fiercely, a dog wearing sunglasses, and a guy serenading his girlfriend with a ukulele. Argentina, you are never boring.
- 2:00 PM: My stomach felt weird, so I decided to go back to the hotel and relax. I wanted to take a great nap, but I was thinking about the events of the day, feeling happy and grateful, and the alarm clock woke me up after a long and happy night.
- 6:00 PM: Dulce de leche quest! My mission: find the best dulce de leche in Buenos Aires. Tried three different shops. First one: too sweet. Second one: grainy. Third one: perfection! I have tasted a little bit of heaven.
- 8:00 PM: Dinner at a pizza place. Because, you know, balance. And pizza is always a good idea. I was still a little scared, but I tried some new flavors and I was so happy with my option.
- 9:30 PM: Back to the hotel. I'm tired, full and happy. I felt lonely and decided to go to the bar to see if I could talk to somebody.
- 10:00 PM: The bar was a vibe! The bartender was also the DJ. And he was playing cool music. I was drinking a great wine. After talking with so many people, I met a couple who was also traveling here. We decide to create a plan and to travel around the city. My heart was full of happiness.
Día 3: The Suitcase… and the Epiphany
- 8:00 AM: Woke up with a smile. I met the other couple, and we decided to take a walk through the city.
- 9:00 AM: My suitcase… arrived! Hallelujah! It was the most beautiful sight I've ever seen, even if it was a little crumpled. I hugged it. I kissed it. I unpacked my toothbrush, which made me feel like I could conquer the world.
- 10:00 AM: Exploring the city. We started with the Recoleta Cemetery. Very somber and peaceful, and beautiful. Then, we went to the Casa Rosada. We took a lot of pictures. We loved the pictures of the city and the feelings that take us.
- 1:00 PM: Lunch. The best meal I have ever tasted. I took a lot of pictures. We talked a lot, and we are planning to travel together during our trip.
- 2:00 PM: A good friend advised me to explore a place where they make the best ice cream in Argentina. I went there, and OMG! I never ate such delicious ice cream in my life.
- 4:00 PM: I started feeling weird and remembering the bad moments. I started thinking about what I am doing. I took a walk and I felt great.
- 5:00 PM: I wanted to create a plan and to go to the cinema. My friends didn't want to come with me. so I went alone.
- 6:00 PM: Cinema time. It was a long night.
- 8:30 PM: I went to the bar and I start laughing. I start to feeling again with that vibes.
- 9:00 PM: I'm so happy and full. I am starting to love my new life.
- 11:00 PM: Sleep.
- 12:00 AM: My new friend call me. We have a date to explore The Iguazu waterfalls.
Día 4+: To be continued…
This is just the beginning. Argentina is a wild, wonderful, chaotic adventure. My suitcase, my terrible tango skills, even my slight tendency towards existential dread… they’re all part of the journey. I can’t wait to see what bizarre, beautiful, and probably slightly messy things happen next.
(No me juzguen, estaba deliciosa).
¡Ay, no me acuerdo!
